Cindy Felkel worked in education for twenty years before pursuing her writing career. She is passionate about sharing people's stories, accurately representing Jesus, and being honest about her own struggles. Her training as an English teacher prepared her to deeply study the context, culture, style, and themes of the Bible for (a more*) thorough understanding. Her work in education, as well as her volunteering, opened her eyes to systemic injustice within American church culture and society as a whole. Cindy lives in Connecticut with her husband, where she writes and produces a variety of projects and blogs about incredible survivors and God's heart for each of us.
